BIO2TANIO®

New class of materials produced with BIO2TANIO®, a latest generation mixture studied in our laboratories capable of reducing organic compounds (dirt, pollution deposits and microorganisms) that can deposit on the product. BIO2TANIO® makes the products self-cleaning and depolluting.

PHOTOCATALYTIC FLOORING

Products made with Italcementi's TX Active® titanium dioxide (TiO2) concrete are able to reduce quantities of pollutants. The process is activated with the presence of sunlight or artificial light, but also with overcast skies. It should be underlined that the greater the light, surface ventilation and clarity of the colour, the greater the effectiveness of the process. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is not degenerated by the reaction, so it keeps its capabilities over time.
