Thanks to the new generation mixture, the elements possess the following additional aesthetic and durability characteristics:

Physical-mechanical characteristics according to UNI EN 1339 standard: nominal dimensions 750x124.5 mm, nominal thickness 110 mm, tolerance on nominal thickness ±3 mm, characteristic bending strength ≥3.5 MPa, minimum bending breaking load ≥3.6 kN, abrasion resistance ≤20 mm, water absorption ≤6.0%, average frost/thaw resistance in the presence of salts ≤1.00 kg/m^2, satisfactory slip resistance.
Anti-slip classification R13 according to DIN 51130, anti-slip classification C according to DIN 51097, compliant with anti-slip requirements according to DM 14/06/1989 n.236 for outdoor pavements.
Environmental sustainability characteristics: absence of asbestos, addition of titanium dioxide (only for white-based colors): it's a new class of materials produced with BIOTANIO®, the latest generation mixture developed in our laboratories capable of reducing organic compounds (dirt, pollution deposits, and microorganisms) that may settle on the product. Recycled material content according to DM 11/01/2017 ≥10.5%, Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) (for gray or white-based colors) according to ASTM E1980 ≥29.
Installation according to the reference methods indicated by UNI 11241 standard on a prepared sub-base according to the type of expected traffic and the natural soil conditions based on the indications of the "Catalog for the design of urban pavements" published by Assobeton, 2005: the materials used for bedding and sub-base layer and their compaction conditions must ensure the necessary load-bearing capacity.
Installation Recommendation:
The vibro-compression of the product must be done with an appropriate vibrating plate equipped with a roller (Rubber or similar) on both sides of the product. Vibro-compression without a roller-equipped plate is not allowed.
Extraordinary cleaning and maintenance
The Quartz Color System is a production system based on the combination of a special mixture with a distinctive production process. The mixture involves the addition of a certain quantity of quartz to enhance the physical and chemical performance of the product, while simultaneously amplifying its technical capabilities. On the other hand, the special production process creates a specific impermeability between the treated element and the exterior, enabling easy cleaning of the flooring and reducing stains compared to an untreated Quarz Color System product. The colors remain more durable over time, enhancing the design of the flooring.
