Green Carpet Nest
Concrete grassy slatted floor
Favaro1 presents Green Carpet Nest, the new concrete grassy grating floor dedicated to outdoor spaces. A design project by Studio Cendron which created Green Carpet Nest by developing a grid capable of making the soil usable in harmony with nature and the natural water cycle, also thanks to its thickness which makes it suitable for vehicles.
Green Carpet Nest stands out in the panorama of slatted floors thanks to its innovative lines, which become an expression of modernity by taking on new compositional forms.
Functionality and design reinterpret tradition, Green Carpet Nest represents a turning point for outdoor gratings flooring, where the saturation of the cavities in soil or gravel guarantee a high degree of permeability of the soil.
A flooring which is therefore elegant and at the same time resistant and durable, also thanks to the use of BIOTANIO, a latest generation molecule, developed in the Favaro1 laboratories, which makes this exclusive grassy grating self-cleaning and depolluting, where the organic compounds (dirt, pollution and microorganisms) deposited on the surface are destroyed.
Green Carpet Nest grating in the 50x50 mm dimensions has a texture designed to be laid without rules: in fact by rotating it 360 degrees you can create free compositions, creating a unique, original and easy floor for each application, also reducing installation times and costs. pose.

Environmental sustainability characteristics: absence of asbestos, addition of titanium dioxide (only for white-based colours): this is a new class of materials produced with BIOTANIO®, the latest generation mixture studied in our laboratories and capable of reducing the compounds organic (dirt, pollution deposits and microorganisms) that can settle on the product. BIOTANIO® makes the products self-cleaning and antibacterial. Content of recycled materials CAM EDILIZIA (Decree of 23-06-2022) ≥10.5%, solar reflectance index SRI (for gray material or white-based colours) according to ASTM E1980 ≥29, 39.54% voids on the surface in place, capable of disposing of 100% of the maximum project rainfall levels throughout the national territory, both new and long-term. Installed according to the methods indicated by the UNI 11241 standard, excluding the granulometric melt of the bedding sand and clogging, on a ballast prepared according to the type of traffic expected and the state of the natural soil on the basis of the indications of the "Catalogue for the sizing of pavements in urban areas" published by Assobeton, 2005: the materials used for the bedding and ballast layer and their compaction conditions must in any case guarantee, in addition to the necessary load-bearing capacity, also long-term permeability coefficients such as to allow the regular filtration of surface water up to the collection level, or for total infiltration into the subsoil, based on the design rainfall.
